Hi there!
Another busy month for us all, and all of a sudden it's midyear,
half the year is gone and what have I done to improve myself, my life
and my future. The biggest new joy in my life is a gorgeous tabby
kitten named Master. He's 9 weeks old and has such a fantastic
personality that he's interrupting work, very nicely. And he's so
cute with a purr factor that's off the scale. I haven't had a
kitten in many years and I forgot just how much energy they do
have. Oh what fun and joy we're having! I wish you fun and
joy as well, regards Narelle.

Ready to
Give Up Smoking?
Tobacco
smoke contains over 4,000 different chemicals. At least 43 are known
carcinogens (cause cancer in humans). There
are all sorts of yummy goodies such as Acetone nail polish
remover, Ammonia
that is used for cleaning toilets and dry cleaning, Arsenic
a rat poison, Benzene
a petrol additive, Carbon
Monoxide a wonderful poisonous gas, Formaldehyde
used to preserve dead bodies (hey, maybe you won't need any for your
body when you die), Nicotine
which is an insecticide and addictive drug, and Tar
- that oozing, sticky, dark brown stuff that sticks to your lungs
and chokes them up. Oh, plus about another 3,
990 goodies!
(Information
from Quit website)
Now,
do you want to give up smoking? As soon as you have decided to
quit, give me a call. It only takes about 3 to 4 sessions (for a
92% success rate) using Timeline techniques to remove limiting decisions
(like making a decision to smoke has to be limiting) and hypnosis to
reinforce your decision and give you options for managing your
stress. Easy peasy!

Start, Continue and Finish!
It’s interesting to observe the patterns of
how individuals tackle jobs or projects.
Some people start things with a bang, full of enthusiasm and
energy. Part way through,
they lose steam, and gradually let go of the project.
Others like to tinker with something that’s already been
started, finding ways to improve and refine, but never creating in the
first place. Some people
love to come in at the end and then fix the problem or project.
We’re all different and often we find ourself not doing what we
do best.
·
If you’re a starter (but not a finisher), then play to
your strengths.
·
If you’re a refiner, a modifier (but not a starter),
then play to your strengths.
·
If you’re a finisher, (and disinterested in continuing
or starting something new), then play to your strengths too.
Many people find themselves caught in a trap
where they are made to feel guilty because they ‘don’t finish things
off’ or ‘can’t get started’.
If this is you, you could ask yourself “What is it I need to
get started?” “ What is it I need to continue?”, “What must I
have to finish?”
Often, it is an emotional quality –
enthusiasm, excitement, and the prospect of payment, that’s required
to get us to start, continue or work until finished.
If your job or career depends on one of these three aspects and
you’re not playing to your strengths, consider changing either the job
or the environment so that you do, because you’ll feel so much better
and achieve so much more. Call
me today for help with your career and life choices.
Health
Safety Tip
During
winter, it is easy to get lazy. Then
the weight goes on and self-confidence droops until spring motivation
kicks you into action. Start now so it’s easy.
It’s
easy to do cross
training such as dancing, cycling and stair climbing, walking and
swimming to
build strength in a wide variety of muscle groups and help to prevent
injuries.
Be
consistent in maintaining your heart rate at a level helpful for aerobic
conditioning.
Always check with your doctor before commencing an exercise
programme, particularly if you have health problems.
