WHAT
DID SHE WIN??
I
won tickets for 2 to Summerfield Dayze at the Gold Coast January 9th,
plus get picked up in a limo from home to the Palazzo Versace Hotel (how
yummy is that!!), then limo to and from the festival, and back and forth
to hotel (did I mention it is 5 stars!), and VIP bar tickets (no alcohol
included - a good thing as I don't hold my liquor well) and 2 nights in
the hotel and then the limo back to Brisbane!!!
One
of my girlfriends Jennifer Byrne super dietician/nutritionist

daughter sat her down last night and gave her the drug lecture and all
the while oozing green with jealousy. How funny is that?
Imagine, 5 star luxury,
hope they throw in some food too! (Nope, no food, we'll be right!)
I have no idea what the music
will be like, but hey, it doesn't start until 11 am so we have plenty of
time to enjoy the Palazzo Versace with it's own private beach and the
muso's who are staying there.
So,
I get my weekend away after all, and if everyone could put a thought in
for a few hours of sunshine as well, that would be wonderful. Ok,
I had been drooling over the iPhone and didn't want to pay for one, like
I did with my last Nokia E61 which is like a Blackberry but not.
It was as slow as eternity in sending text messages. I kid you
not, it took around 5 minutes per text no matter what size they were and
was really annoying. Finally my son figured out how to load on
some software to speed it up, but too late, I ordered the iPhone 2days
later. So,
I am really really wanting an iPhone and did an online search, and found
that Vodafone offered a free iPhone 3GS (yes it's the latest)
with 16 GB on a $69 plan. So, you don't pay anything extra for the
iPhone (my last Nokia cost me $15 a month extra for 2 years), and you
get this lot: $400
calls, 100 free text messages (or the choice of 2 other deals), and 1GB
data (that's internet and no connection or download fees unless over the
1 GB) and the iPhone tethers to your laptop if you want
as well. When
I had this lovely conversation with Andrew from Vodafone Direct Deals,
he asked if I was a member of RACQ or NRMA etc. and when I said
"YES", he gave me 2 months FREE (out of the 24 months of the
plan) and 10% off my bill each month, so now it will be $62.10 a month
instead. AND
WAIT FOR IT!! He also said that if I refer anyone to Vodafone who takes
the same deal with the free iPhone, they will also get the deal I got
because the RACQ thing gives access to friends and family!! How
good is that? And it doesn't matter when you sign up during my 2
year plan and Vodafone to Vodafone get free calls too. And
then he said, and for each person you refer, I will give you another
month free off your bill! And you will get that too if you refer
someone as well. BUT
WAIT, CAN YOU KEEP YOUR EXISTING NUMBER? YES YOU CAN, and I
did. So,
